Whether you’re looking for a getaway from the routine of celebrating an anniversary or, if you are on your honeymoon or simply travelling the world together, you have made the right decision – a Romantic Bali Holiday.

Bali is a paradise island province in Indonesia. It is called the Morning of the World, the Land of the Gods, The Last Paradise, the Land of Thousand Temples and so on. But I would call it The Romantic Paradise. Bali rules the ‘top honeymoon destinations in the world’ list. So, I think I have justified myself.

Bali is abundant with romantic beaches, gentle mountains, ancient culture, colourful nightclubs, tempting cocktails and adventure bundles and warm hospitality. Is it not the checklist any couple would want on a romantic holiday?

Bali is a famous travel destination. So when you start your research, it might get a little complicated on the internet since there is a lot of information. So, I will point out some useful Bali information to ease up your research for your romantic Bali vacation.

When can we Visit Bali?

The dry season is from April to October, and the high season is in July and August. It’s the time of the year when the island gets much busier with tourists, and the flights and accommodation prices get higher.

The best time of year for Bali is during May, June, September, and October. These months are smooth, and you can enjoy Bali at regular prices, soak in the best weather of Bali, and avoid the summer crowds.

You do not want to visit Bali during the monsoon season from November to March because it mostly rains during the season.

What are the Romantic Bali Hotels to Stay at?

There are wide options for accommodation with the warmest Balinese hospitality for couples.

You can find fantastic beaches and luxury resorts in Bali’s famous areas: Kuta, Jimbaran, Seminyak, Tanjung Benoa, Candidasa, Lovina, Sanur, and Nusa Dua. Most of the great hotels and villas are right on the beach.

Here are a few great picks for you;

  1. Viceroy Bali in Ubud
  2. Ayung Resort Ubud
  3. Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua
  4. Menjangan Dynasty Resort
  5. Casa Daha Luxury Water Slide Villa
  6. Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort

Besides, the naturistic, Insta-famous Kamandalu Ubud must be on your list. It is one of the most famous romantic resorts for a romantic Bali holiday.

What are the Romantic Things to do in Bali?

Plenty!

1. Candle Light Dinner at Seminyak Beach

Who would not like romantic dinners in Bali, especially with candlelight by the shore, sizzling food, and shining stars?

The great thing about Seminyak is that it’s filled with renowned restaurants, so it’s a good place for a date night.

A walk by the beach after dinner would be even more romantic.

2. Pose Together at The Gates of Heaven

3. Watch a Raw Sunset in Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple is situated in the sea. So there are no barriers or skylines to disturb the sunset view.

Quick reminder: Check the weather before you go.

4. Hidden Beach of Gunung Payung In Nusa Dua

Let’s accept it, crowded beaches are not romantic to chill. But your partner escaping to Gunung Payung Beach will give you thrills.

Since the beach is remote, it is an excellent choice for a romantic picnic; pack some snacks and wine. Then, get to the beach and have a nice beachy time together. You will not regret it.

5. Take a Little Adventure in Nusa Dua

If you both are adventure freaks, you must know that Bali is famous for its adventures. Bungee jumping, Paragliding, Snorkelling, Scuba Diving, Hiking, World-class Surfing and Diving.

Nusa Dua is the island to get your adrenaline hyped up with watersports. Especially Jet Skiing and Paragliding await on the island. Nusa Dua’s water is warm, clean and beautifully blue.

6. Snorkel Together At Menjangan Island

Visiting Bali and not seeing the underwater miracles would be a crime.

You will witness the most beautiful coral reefs in all of Indonesia, along with tropical fish, including Nemo and Dory. Take a picture so you can brag about it on your Instagram later.

7. Do Nothing But Chill in Potato Head Beach Club

The Potato Head Beach Club offers great food and drinks with great hospitality. All you have to do is grab a drink and enjoy the luxury and the views.

To add to your to-do list, Mount Batur Hike and walking among the Sidemen Rice Paddies will allow you to connect with Bali’s nature and within yourselves.

Moreover;

Do not miss having a swing in Bali and getting a Balinese couples’ massage. Because everyone deserves a massage on their vacation.

Quick Tip;

If you want to experience the true essence of trave Bali as a couple, I highly recommend renting a motorbike or a scooter to explore and enjoy. It is a smart, cheap, and adventurous choice.

Having a scooter or a motorbike is going to give you freedom. You do not have to wait for a taxi to go and see the sunrise which you suddenly plan. Remember to ride left.

It is okay to put on some honeymoon holiday weight, so do not leave Bali without feasting on Balinese food like Nasi Goreng, Pisang Goreng, and Mie-Goreng. Eat away, lovers!

Two weeks are ideal for a couple to soak themselves in Balinese romance.

But you always, always want to come back to Bali. Because Bali never disappoints.
