Regardless of how we look like at it, no quarantine holiday is unquestionably a major issue when it comes to holiday-makers. What’s the purpose of making a trip to your favorite destination if you’re simply going to be cooped up inside your hotel room for days, maybe even weeks.
Unfortunately, in light of recent events, most countries and destinations worldwide that have opened their airports to foreign visitors are still imposing on-arrival quarantines. These quarantines may last anywhere from 7 to 21 days depending on which country you’re visiting.
Here’s how it is done!
Right now, going on a quarantine-free holiday might sound so alien, but there are countries adopting a different approach, in a sense that no on-arrival quarantine measures are in place for visitors, provided that they have been tested negative for COVID-19 among other requirements.

How are “Travel corridors” affecting us?
Many countries have opened their doors for people to travel quarantine-free by implementing certain safety protocols that travelers must undergo upon arrival.
- Travellers can go on a 14 days quarantine period upon arriving.
- Travellers can have entry with clearing medical screenings like PCR tests, etc.
- Many Schengen countries requiring a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of arrival. Turkey and the UK remain popular and convenient jump points to a next destination with 48-hour test validity requirements. Universal Aviation has rapid PCR testing providers set up at both Universal Aviation and Universal Aviation Turkey.
How could you lose money, planning your holiday?
Even though there are quarantine free countries to travel, planning a travel during this stage might fill you with a plethora of worries of losing your money paid to book the air tickets might go in vain, what if there any date changes, the date change fees that could incur and simply ruin your whole travel budget. Well guess what, there’s still hope on not losing your momentum on traveling to your favorite destination.

- Most of the airlines are offering free date changes considering any immediate travel restrictions that are imposed and also provides free route changes in the event where the destination is under lockdown or any increase on infected cases.
- There could be high chances that the flights may get canceled, if such event occurs, airlines are willing to provide a full refund.
- Last but not least, you can claim the purchased travel vouchers with some interesting added perks, which would add great value to your tour package.
Are airlines “strict safety measures” actually safe?
As airlines rush to return their fleets to the skies, the industry is battling to restore confidence among travellers that flying in an aircraft with hundreds of people is not as risky as it may seem.
Over the past couple of months, the aviation industry has stepped up its campaign to address safety concerns about the spread of coronavirus as it looks to recover from the worst crisis in its century of history.
- All the airlines are providing free face masks when onboarding passengers
- The aircraft replaces the cabin air every 3-4 minutes to reduce the risk of having congested infectious air.
- Many airlines have added new safety features to prevent the spread of coronavirus, including using HEPA filtration systems to improve air flow on its planes.
