Our planet Earth is vaster and more diverse than we imagine.

Little worlds exist on it with different and genuinely unique landscapes, geography, breathtaking sceneries, and nature.

The word ‘beautiful’ does not do justice to the places.

Only looking at the pictures gives a feeling of inexpressible satisfaction and thinking about what it would be like if you actually visited these places.

Details of must go destinations for a holiday

(1) Salar de Uyuni – Bolivia

The Salar de Uyuni, located in Bolivia, is the world’s largest salt flat and acts as a mirror reflecting sunrises, sunsets, and starry night skies.

It was formed when a prehistoric lake dried up, leaving behind a vast salt flat containing the world’s largest lithium deposit.

The best time to visit salar de uyuni is during the wet season from December to April, when the flats are covered in water, creating a mesmerising mirror effect.

Uyuni, Bolivia, is the most popular starting point for visiting the salt lake, with other options being Tupiza, Bolivia, or San Pedro de Atacama, Chile.

The Salar de Uyuni is a photographer’s paradise, offering unique opportunities for creative and aesthetic photos.

(2) Hang Son Doong – Vietnam

Hang Son Doong Cave in Vietnam is the most extensive natural cave system in the world. It is a natural limestone cave. The volume is 38.5 million cubic metres and is nearly 9 km long.

By natural cave system, I mean rainforests growing inside the cave with rich ecosystems and rivers.

The people who have visited have reclaimed that Hang Son Doong is another planet. Popular publications have mentioned that Hang Son Doong, Vietnam, has sceneries like in the Avatar movie.

In fact, in 2013, the Guinness World Records Organisation recorded it as the world’s largest natural cave.

Son Doong: Son means mountain, Doong is the name of the valley where the tribal minority lives, and ‘Doong’ refers to the cave in the limestone mountain through which an underground river flows.

By joining a Hang Son Doong cave tour, you can spend several days trekking, climbing, camping, and taking unbelievable pictures.

(3) Spotted Lake – Osoyoos, Canada

The Spotted Lake is called kłlilx’w. Wondering how to pronounce it? It’s ‘k-thlelth-k.’

Osoyoos is a town in the Okanagan Valley region of British Columbia, Canada. Also known for their warmest nature. Osoyoos, Canada, is like a warm hug from nature, and the Spotted Lake lies there. Spotted Lake is a tiny lake rich in minerals such as calcium, sodium sulfates, and magnesium sulfate.

During the hot summer months, much of the Lake’s water evaporates, leaving concentrations of these minerals in the Lake, which form visible patches.

The spots fluctuate in size and colour throughout the summer as the minerals within each alter due to additional evaporation.

Colours range from blue to green to yellow, depending on the mineral makeup of each unique location, which distinguishes the Lake.

It is a sacred sanctuary that has long been recognized as a healing location. Each of the different circles has its own distinct medicinal and healing capabilities.

Spotted Lake also called as Polka Dots Lake

It may look gross to some of you, and some might say ‘eww,’ but don’t judge the book by its cover.

(4) Glowworms Caves – New Zealand

Glowworm Caves are the best natural attractions in New Zealand.

So, who are the heroes? Thousands of magical glowworms (Arachnocampa Luminosa) are endemic to New Zealand.

They radiate unbelievable and incredibly beautiful luminescent light.

This phenomenon is created to be witnessed but to sit and read. So immerse yourself in the following clip.

I have no words to describe this phenomenon.

(5) Highlands of Iceland

If you are an adventure freak, or even if you are not, the highlands of Iceland will fill your body and soul like no other place on Earth.

By adventure means, I do not mean just an adventure. If the word ‘adventure’ has an experiential meaning, this is it – experiencing the Highlands of Iceland.

Nature has poured its essence over 40,000 square kilometres (15,445 square miles) in earthy colours on the plateaus, valleys, mountain peaks and cliffs, and fertile lowlands on the highlands of Iceland, and it is absolutely breathtaking.

We are so wired up with technical and materialistic stuff without our conscience.

We deserve to plug out and explore such beautiful places and recharge our souls at least occasionally.

I have listed the most precious must-go holiday destinations for you.

Don’t you want an escape? So, why wait? Go explore!
